The Golden Empire
Moon Elves are shorter than typical elves, standing about 4 to 5 feet tall and typically weighing 80 to 120 pounds, with elf men the same height as and only marginally heavier than elf women. They are graceful but frail. They tend to have a very pale tone and complexion, with deep purple eyes. Elves have no facial or body hair.
The Moon Elves are amongst the most shy races in the known world existing within the empire known as the Order of the Silver Pearl. They see other races as dangerous and mysterious threats to their kind made to test them by the gods. Their view of any craft, skill, or feat by another race is something that can be learned from to better themselves and their ilk. However, this being said they do believe the best option to dealing with threats is to make others believe they don’t exist at all.
The Moon Elf hierarchy is unknown as none of these Elves have titles to identify them at all. It almost seems no Elf in their country has a title or social ranking indicating their political might and strength. As such, most other civilizations often choose to treat them all as nobility, in case one of them actually is… Moon Elves are notoriously friendly, but evasive leaving even the most determined individuals wondering, “Did I learn anything?”.
Still other races often accept this strange race and its view for the vast trade goods they produce… They may be evasive, but their work standards and abilities are the want of every city state and country within the known world. Their goods are priceless, their talent undeniable, and skills unmatched except perhaps work by Dwarves or the Sun Elves…
Their epic war with the Sun Elves has brought hard times to the Moon Elves draining their vast reserves and military strength to the breaking point. Other countries, most notably the Lands of Tiamat and the Vecna church have both offered assistance, but to their dismay they cannot find the councilate to have their request heard and thusly been foiled by the elusive leadership of these Elves…
