Bio:

The gnomes LOVE chickens though no one knows why… Some even believe crude gnomish societies worshipped large chickens as gods and even have a sacred “Chicken Dance”. It is openly believed that the gnomish god Garl Glittergold has a pet chicken named “A La King” though most modern gnomes are torn on the issue.

However, it cannot be denied this creation was spawned from gnomish tinkering and although much of their engineering is far more advanced, the day this drone is no longer used will be a sad day indeed!

It should also be noted, no self respecting engineer except a gnome would use these things despite the solid mechanics behind them…

This device is the next logical step in the advanced “Chicken” technology develpoed by the Gnomes and it is far more dangerous. Gnomish society deems the cockatrice a Demon and often send their mechanical devices to fight them. This was not only out of fear, but practicallity as many Gnomes view imprisonment in stone to be a fate worse then death…

Thankfully, the common cockatrice lives in woodland regions and rarely venture from them. Gnomes which used to live in woodlands prior to the first age, now prefer to live anywhere, but the woodlands. However, it should be noted a segment of the gnomish population sperated prior to the end of the first age and became known as the Deep Gnomes which view the cockatrice in a much different light…
